The idea for the magazine was based on two years of programs produced for the Midsummer Celebration in Balboa Park. Rikard Krvaric, Midsummer Webmaster and founder of Digital Vikings, felt that San Diego’s Scandinavian community would benefit from a directory promoting Nordic-owned and operated businesses. Carol Kerr, owner of Carol Kerr Graphic Design and House of Sweden board member, knew that Scandinavian events and culture could be promoted more successfully. Rikard and Carol collaborated to create a magazine that would promote, at no charge, events and Nordic businesses. This FREE magazine goes beyond being an event program. Be a part of it!
